Announcing the 3rd Annual SIC

The 3rd Annual Southern Indiana Classic Marathon, Half Marathon, and 8k will take place on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the beautiful Vanderburgh County 4-H Center. This Boston Qualifier event features a course that winds through the rolling hills of northern Vanderburgh County, IN. The Spring race is the finale event of the Winter Melt Down Series, the first event on the Indiana Distance Runner Series, and is followed by one of the largest festivals accompanying a road race in the U.S. Proceeds from the 2012 race benefit Rolling Thunder, Inc., a nonprofit military appreciation organization that remembers POW’s, MIA’s and wounded military from all U.S. branches.
