Announcing the 3rd Annual SIC
The 3rd Annual Southern Indiana Classic Marathon, Half Marathon, and 8k will take place on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center. This Boston Qualifier event is followed by one of the largest festivals accompanying a road race in the U.S. Proceeds from the 2012 race benefit Rolling Thunder, Inc., a nonprofit military appreciation organization that remembers POW’s, MIA’s and wounded military from all U.S. branches.

Rolling Thunder, Inc., is a nonprofit military appreciation organization that publicizes the POW/MIA issue of numerous military being left behind after every international war. This military appreciation organization is also committed to helping disabled U.S. veterans from all wars. It is an honor to be donating proceeds from from the 2012 Southern Indiana Classic Marathon, 1/2 Marathon and 8k to this self sacrificing organization, which honors the brave men and women who protect our nation every day.
