Welcome to the Inaugural Southern Indiana Classic Marathon and Half Marathon

Thank you for your interest in the highly anticipated inaugural Southern Indiana Classic Marathon and Half Marathon, the first Boston qualifying event for Southern Indiana! The Board of Directors who are organizing this race are so encouraged by the outpour of support from the community from the onset of planning this magnitude of an event! This race promises to be a "runner's race" because it has been organized with the runner mindset, guaranteeing it to be the most fun, entertaining and celebratory event it can possibly be with all proceeds benefiting the American Diabetes Association. Walkers are welcomed with open arms to this event, (note time limit below) as we celebrate your commitment to fitness through accomplishing the full or half marathon feat! We hope you will be a part of history and run (or walk!) the inaugural Southern Indiana Classic Marathon and Half Marathon on April 11, 2010! With a gym bag for your goody bag, an all you can eat After-Party from 8am-3pm with a Michelob Ultra Beer Garden, and entertainment all the way up to the awards ceremony, this is the inaugural event people are registering for NATION-WIDE! We will be closing the field at 6,000 entries and are tracking to close before April!!! So register today to save your space in this history-making event!

Event Description

This blast of an event starts and finishes at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Grounds, taking participants on a course that winds through beautiful northern Vanderburgh County during the mild Southwestern Indiana spring weather. The full and half marathon courses have rolling hills, mostly at the beginning, with more down hills in the second half of the course. Your friends and family will cheer you on at the six fan stations that line the course and then upon your finish, you all can enjoy the party in the park, with food and entertainment for the entire community all the way until the award ceremony. This is an event you don't want to miss!

Regular rates available: 1/01/10 -- 4/05/10
Late registration available: 4/06/10 -- 4/09/10 @ 9pm

Time Limit 17 minutes per mile HALF and 15 minutes per mile FULL

Fees do not include GetMeRegistered processing fees.
Online and Postal Mail Fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Registration via postal mail must be postmarked by April 5, 2010.

Late Registration will continue until the field is filled at 6,000 participants. There will be walk-up Late Registration on Race Weekend at Packet Pickup on Friday ONLY and ONLY IF THE FIELD HAS NOT YET FILLED! Check our website to see if the field has filled.
